Asif Razzaq Senior Research Specialist, CAREC Institute
Dr. Asif Razzaq is an applied economist whose research focuses on investment ecosystems, digitalization, energy transition, and climate change. He has led regional projects across CAREC countries, focusing on investment promotion, facilitation, policy frameworks, and regional cooperation. He has published research and policy reports and received more than 13,000 citations. Recognized among the world’s top 2% of researchers by Stanford University and Elsevier from 2023 to 2025, he holds a PhD in economic system analysis and management from Dalian University of Technology, People’s Republic of China.
