Jong Woo Kang plays a critical role as interface between ADB's internal and external stakeholders, contributing to enhancing the relevance, responsiveness, and quality of ADB's knowledge products and operations. He is a seasoned economist with extensive knowledge and experience on policy and strategic issues. His areas of research interest include regional integration, inclusive growth, macroeconomic and trade policies, and aid effectiveness. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Washington.
