Shuji Kimura has 22 years of experience in transport policy/planning and engineering in the public sector. He previously administered ADB's transport projects in Southeast Asia, particularly in the Philippines. Prior to joining ADB, he worked for the Ministry of Land Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Japan. He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan, and a master’s degree in transport economics from the University of California, Irvine.
