Shannon Cowlin is a senior energy specialist with ADB currently leading initiatives in Southeast Asia on renewable energy, electric mobility, and carbon capture and storage. Prior to joining ADB in 2013, she led bilateral and multilateral cooperation on clean energy at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in the United States. Her previous work focused on the intersection of energy use, emissions, human health implications, and mitigation approaches. Shannon holds an MS and BS from the University of California at Berkeley.
