Prior to his current post, Sabyasachi Mitra was the Director of South Asia Department's Public Management, Financial Sector, and Trade Division. His work has focused on regional cooperation and integration initiatives; development finance, including Asian bond markets; and project development in South Asia. Notably, he has led ADB's work on economic corridor development in India.
