Keeyoung Yoo obtained his PhD from the University of Seoul in 1996. His research work is in the field of municipal waste management or treatment and covers setting comprehensive waste management plans to basic plans on various infrastructures, such as transfer stations, materials recovery and waste-to-energy facilities, and landfills.
