Siela Teng-Almocera has been part of the social safeguards team for private sector operations since she joined ADB in 2017. As a senior social development officer (safeguards), she processes and supervises projects across Asia and the Pacific in energy, transport, water, agriculture, telecommunications, and financial sectors. She holds a post-graduate diploma in Urban and Regional Planning and has a bachelor of science degree in Development Communication from the University of the Philippines. She is also a licensed environmental planner.
