David Dawe specializes in agricultural and food policy analysis, much of it concerned with the Asian and world rice economies. Most recently, he served as regional strategy and policy advisor and senior economist at the FAO’s Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific. He has published books and research articles in the areas of trade and markets, domestic price policy, production and natural resources, and nutrition. He was formerly an editor of the Global Food Security journal.
