Guntur has published a significant number of papers on a wide range of development issues including competitiveness, investment, tourism economics, labor markets, poverty, CGE modeling, trade liberalization and economic reform, taxation, commodity prices, biofuel and food security, education, infrastructure, fragility, and migration and remittance. Before joining ADB in 2004, he worked for the University of Nottingham and University of Warwick in the United Kingdom and the Central Bureau of Statistics in Indonesia.
