Dongchul Cho
Member, Monetary Policy Board, Bank of Korea

Dongchul Cho is a member of the Monetary Policy Board at the Bank of Korea. Prior to this, he was chief economist at the Korea Development Institute (KDI) and professor at the KDI School of Public Policy and Management. Before joining KDI in 1995, he was professor of Economics at Texas A&M University. He graduated from Seoul National University and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His major areas of interest are macroeconomics and international finance.
