Jaimes Kolantharaj is the ADB focal for energy sector operations in Maldives and Sri Lanka. He also works on energy projects in Bangladesh and India. He has processed and implemented several energy sector projects in South Asia. He holds a master’s degree in Power Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and a bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Madras University in India. He has vast experience in renewable energy, power transmission and distribution sub-sectors.
