Çiğdem Akin leads the planning, implementation and supervision of ADB’s lending and technical assistance projects in public sector management area in the Central and West Asia region. She has implemented projects in Asia focusing on fiscal and macroeconomic policy, SOE reforms, tax administration reform with IT applications, fiscal decentralization and local governance, financial sector development, financial inclusion and MSMEs development. Prior to ADB, she worked at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, George Washington University, International Monetary Fund and ADB Institute.
