Her research areas focus on urban regeneration, urban policy, land use, and gentrification. She obtained her master’s in Urban Planning and finished Ph.D. coursework in Urban Planning from the Seoul National University. She has been working as an expert advisor of the Central Urban Plan Committee, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport since January 2018.
