Yeonju Baik is a research fellow in the Banking and Financial Holding Companies Research Division at the Korea Institute of Finance. Her research focuses on banking, digital and AI transformation in finance, and bank competition. She holds a PhD and an MA in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MA in economics from Seoul National University.
