Narayan Iyer’s areas of interest include the development of sustainable agribusinesses, the protection and growth of natural capital, and green financing. At ADB, he leads the development of a regional Natural Capital Lab focused on valuing nature, a concessional and catalytic Natural Capital Fund, sustainable and inclusive bamboo value chains, and supporting sustainable agri-food systems projects. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Technology (Mechanical Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
