Sopheara Ek has more than 10 years of work experience with private and development sectors. She has led several research activities on MSME development and agriculture financing in Cambodia and Lao People’s Democratic Republic. She has also conducted research on startup ecosystem, financial access, agro-processing, education, and infrastructure. Prior to joining BDtruS, she was an investment analyst for a private equity firm in Cambodia. She holds a Master of Economic Development Policy and Management from Nagoya University in Japan.
