Nonarit Bisonyabut obtained his bachelor and master’s degrees in Economics from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand and doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States. His primary interests are topics that involve Thailand’s social and economic development.
In Thailand, subsidies, housing grants, educational programs and the leveraging of economies of scale are being used to benefit poor urban dwellers.
