Maria Concordia Alfonso is a consultant at the Economic Research and Development Impact Department of the ADB. Prior to her current role, she worked at the Philippines' National Statistical Coordination Board (now known as the PSA), and Department of Energy. She earned her bachelor’s degree in economics and master’s degree in public administration from the University of the Philippines, and her master’s degree in national security administration from the National Defense College of the Philippines.
