Prior to his retirement, John Gregory served as General Counsel with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General where he developed legislation and policy in areas such as electronic communications. He was a member of the Canadian delegations to The Hague Conference on Private International Law and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, where he helped develop the Model Law on Electronic Signatures and the Convention on the Use of Electronic Communications in International Contracts.
