Bashir Jama is also Lead, Food Security Specialist. He guides agricultural developments and IsDB's investments in food security projects in member countries. He has worked with Alliance for a Green Revolution, United Nations Development Program, World Agroforestry Centre, and Kenya Ministry of Energy. He has conducted research and published on various topics including innovations for enhancing agricultural productivity and food security and water management technologies for smallholder low-input systems.
