The Asian Development Bank examines prospects to ramp up efforts for greater utilization of demand-side energy efficiency in Asia and the Pacific.
Aiming Zhou works on energy project investments in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, and provides technical assistance in Bhutan, Maldives, and Nepal. He served as secretary of ADB’s Energy Community of Practice and focal point for the Clean Energy Program. He oversaw clean energy activities, coordinated efforts in clean energy development and climate change mitigation, and gave technical support to energy-related operations in low carbon development. He has a doctoral degree in Energy and Environmental Policies from University of Delaware and a master’s degree in System Engineering (Economics) from Tsinghua University.
