Abhirup Bhunia is an international development research and monitoring, evaluation & learning (MEL) specialist. He has been the lead/specialist MEL expert in country-level, regional and global donor-funded programs across sectors, including digital development, financial inclusion, market systems, private sector development, and women economic empowerment. He recently led a global evidence synthesis on inclusive and responsible digital development. He has a master’s degree in Global Political Economy from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom.
