Soumya Chattopadhyay is lead programs officer at the Asian Development Bank’s India Resident Mission, with more than 30 years of experience in public policy, regional cooperation, and economic development. He works on regional connectivity and trade initiatives under the South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation program. Prior to joining ADB, he served in several Government of India ministries, including Economic Affairs and Commerce. He has led studies and policy work on economic corridors, trade facilitation, and infrastructure development.
