Gi Soon Song has been working on social sector projects, including technical and vocational education and training, higher education, urban health, and social protection. Prior to her current post, she was Director of South Asia Department's Human and Social Development Division. She also worked in the Pacific as Public Management Specialist and led a diverse range of development projects. Before moving to ADB, Gi Soon supported governance, poverty reduction, and disaster response efforts of UNDP in Indonesia.
